Why Was QALBIAN Founded?

It started with a quiet, yet undeniable struggle observed across the UK, USA, Canada, and Australia. Dedicated Muslim parents were striving to give their children proper Quranic education, but the system was working against them.

The local options were overwhelmed. Masjid classes were beautiful for community, but with 20 to 25 children per class, a single teacher could only afford 3 to 4 minutes of individual attention per student. Parents watched their children attend for years without truly mastering Tajweed or fluent recitation.

The online alternatives lacked accountability. The internet was flooded with generic academies or passive YouTube videos. Unverified tutors were teaching without proper certification, allowing subtle pronunciation errors to become deeply embedded habits that would take years to undo.

"We realized that the traditional, age-old Islamic method of learning—one scholar, entirely focused on one student—was being lost in the digital age. We decided to rebuild it."

And so, QALBIAN was born. We stripped away the crowded virtual classrooms and the unverified tutors. We built an academy strictly around 1-on-1, focused sessions guided exclusively by Ijazah-certified experts. Today, we are proud to provide an environment where distance is no longer a barrier to authentic, deeply personalized Quranic learning.

Our Mission

To preserve the sacred art of proper Quranic recitation (Tajweed) by making traditional, 1-on-1 scholarly tutorship accessible, engaging, and highly accountable for Muslim families across the globe.

Our Vision

A world where distance, busy schedules, and time zones never prevent a child or adult from forging a confident, lifelong connection with the Book of Allah, guided by the most qualified teachers.

The Qalbian Standard

Absolute 1:1 Focus

We refuse to compromise quality with group classes. Every 30-minute session is entirely dedicated to your child. This undivided attention ensures mistakes are caught immediately, progress is accelerated, and the student never feels left behind.

Complete Transparency

Education is a partnership with parents. We never leave you guessing about your child's progress. You will receive detailed monthly performance reports directly to your WhatsApp, outlining the Surahs mastered, Tajweed improvements, and areas of focus.

Frequently Asked Questions About QALBIAN

What does "Ijazah-certified" actually mean?

jazah is a traditional Islamic certification meaning "permission" or "authorization." A certified teacher has completed extensive study of the Quran and Tajweed under qualified scholars and has received an unbroken chain of transmission (Sanad) connecting them directly back to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. This is the highest standard of Quranic scholarship.

Since 2019. We started as a small initiative to serve UK families and have since grown to serve 1,200+ students across 15+ countries while maintaining our commitment to quality over growth.
