Do your teachers speak fluent English?
Yes. Effective communication is critical for learning. All our teachers are thoroughly vetted for their English proficiency to ensure they can clearly explain complex Tajweed rules and Islamic concepts to students living in Western countries.
Can I request a specific teacher from the profiles above?
Yes! While we match students based on schedule, course, and level, if you see a profile that resonates with you, you can request them specifically. If their schedule allows, we will pair you with them.
Can sisters request a female teacher?
Absolutely. It is a non-negotiable policy at QALBIAN that sisters and daughters can always choose to be taught by a qualified female scholar.
Will my child have the same teacher every day?
Yes. We believe in building a strong mentor-student relationship. You are assigned one dedicated tutor who will teach every single one of your classes so they understand your exact learning curve.
What happens if my assigned teacher is sick or goes on leave?
If a teacher is unavailable, you have two options: we can provide a highly qualified substitute teacher for that day, or we can schedule a makeup class with your regular teacher when they return.
What if my child isn't clicking with their teacher?
Personalities matter in education. If you feel the match isn't perfect, just let us know on WhatsApp. We will happily assign a new tutor within 24-48 hours, no questions asked.
How do teachers handle children with short attention spans?
Our tutors undergo specific pedagogical training to keep young children engaged. They use interactive screen sharing, encouraging tones, positive reinforcement, and frequent pacing changes to keep 30-minute sessions fun and productive.
Can I communicate with the teacher outside of class time?
For privacy and safeguarding reasons, all communication outside of live classes goes through our official QALBIAN WhatsApp support team. We will immediately relay any messages, schedule changes, or concerns to your tutor.
