FAQs
Every Question You're Probably Thinking
Which course should my child start with if they are a beginner?
If they cannot read the Arabic alphabet yet, they must start with the Basic Qaida Course. Once they can read the letters and join them, they will naturally progress to Quran Reading with Tajweed.
Can we enroll in multiple courses at the same time?
Yes! Many students combine courses to maximize their learning. For example, you can take Quran Reading 3 days a week, and Basic Islamic Studies 2 days a week. We can customize a schedule that fits your family.
How do students progress from one level to the next?
Progression is based entirely on mastery, not a rigid timeline. Your tutor will continuously assess your child's progress. Once they have mastered the requirements of a level, the tutor will recommend moving up to the next stage.
Are certificates awarded for every course?
Yes. Upon the successful completion of any course, the student is assessed by a senior scholar and awarded an official QALBIAN Certificate of Completion to celebrate their achievement.
Do you teach adults, or are these courses just for children?
All of our courses are available to both children and adults! Courses like Tafseer, Arabic, and Fiqh are highly popular among adults, while Qaida and Hifz are tailored to suit learners of any age.
Can we switch courses if we change our mind?
Absolutely. If you realize another course aligns better with your current goals (for example, switching from Memorization back to Advanced Recitation to fix mistakes), simply let our support team know. We will seamlessly transition you.
How is the Hifz (Memorization) course structured compared to regular reading?
The Hifz course is highly intensive and requires significant commitment. It is divided into three daily parts: Sabaq (new memorization), Sabaqi (recent revision), and Manzil (old revision). It is only recommended for students who can already read fluently with Tajweed.
Are the special courses (like Women in Islam) taught by specific scholars?
Yes. Courses like "Women in Islam" are taught exclusively by highly qualified female scholars to ensure a comfortable and deeply knowledgeable learning environment for sisters.
